I am glad I just posted photos of them this week. Oculus did look old. And I just found him lying in one corner of the cage motionless, and dead. No symptoms, no tumors, just old. I knew this time would come when I kept all of them as babies - they would start winking out at around the same time. Only Tux, Aurelius, Marcus, and their sister Margie, are left from the two moms, Moet and Chandon, and two litters totaling 18 babies. The cage has become like a nursing home, and we never know which will be alive the next day. Their energy levels are way down from even a few months ago. Even one month ago they still would climb up the cage bars for treats. No more. I give them soft food often, such as beans and yogurt. If the ground was not frozen we would have a mass burial. Good-bye, Oculus. I did what I could.

Aw, I'm sorry. May he rest in peace.
