I just found my youngest girl dead...I'm so in shock right now, I just can't believe she's gone already. I had her for only 10 days, but I looked forward to having her even before she was born. It's just not fair May it be an evening star Shines down up on you May it be when darkness falls Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely a road Oh how far you are from home
Mornie utulie Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie A promise lives within you now
May it be the shadows call Will fly away May it be your journey on To light the day
When the night is overcome You may rise to find the sun
Mornie utulie Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie A promise lives within you now.....
Text: May It Be - EnyaI love you baby, have fun on the Bridge with all the other rats...send them my love

Aw, she was a cutie. I'm so sorry you lost her that quickly, may she rest in peace. *hugs* I recognized the song you did and I could easily hear it in my head (FotR), beautiful song.

So sorry. She lived just over two months. I had a new mom hamster named Rainy who had a surprise litter Jan. 9th, 2003. Old story here most people know. I kept all the babies. But one runt died in a few weeks despite efforts. However, Peter, a "panda bear" Syrian, who seemed healthy, started having seizures and staggering, and in a few hours was dead. He was almost the same age as Lulabelle. I guess such is why rodents have large litters. We never can tell. Snowball was a lovely young white dwarf I was attached to. One morning I found her dead with lots of dried blood. Must have been a sudden uterine hemorrhage. I am sure she had a fine two months. BTW, Linda just lost her cat after 14 years. A shame. It doesn't compare but a spiny died here yesterday after being biten by other males. I pulled him out as soon as it happened, and he seemed frisky, but the wounds were too serious. He died a day later, comfortable and loved. I have no idea why an established tank of long term males did that after many months together. Again, sorry about Lulabelle.

RIP Lulabelle, and hugs to you, Angela. Almost all of us have had recent losses, so we appreciate your pain.
She was a cutie, and pink was definitely her color. . .
*hugs Angela again*
