So I picked up a new girl today...again I just couldn't help myself, she needed a home and I fell in love. her former "owner" dumped her 2 days ago outside a Vet. clinic, in a very small cage. The same day I saw her on a Mice-forum...and today I picked her up. I Named her Mystical Faerie, she's about 7 weeks old. I think her color is Silver blue, but She still has her kitten-fur so she could also be a different blue-color. Faerie is very skinny, she's only 69 gr. That's how much a kitten should weigh when it's about 4,5 weeks old. Her tailbase is square, so she didn't get the proper food. I'm very happy with her, although she's gone through allot in her short live she really is a sweetheart. she's really curious and loves attention.

Lovely. Wish I had her. I am having a difficult time here trying to find a non-pregnant female friend for Fannie. If you have any "rat contacts" around NYC. >> I just couldn't help myself, she needed a home and I fell in love. her former "owner" dumped her 2 days ago outside a Vet. clinic, in a very small cage. << Yea, typical. People. Cocoa and his Syrian brother, Malu, were left at a pet store in a small Coast cage filled with cedar! What a smell. They lived out their lives with me. Best to Mystical Faerie. I think I will play with Fannie!

Aw, she's cute and I like the name. When you say a rat has kitten fur, you mean in a sense where the fur is all soft right?

Very pretty rattie. Can you explain the square tail base observation/meaning more? Interesting. So my Jayde needs to lose a little weight. . . . she can donate it to Faerie!
