It's time for you all to see what Jayde REALLY looks like! Washed-out-by-flash type of photo posted previously: Now: her full beauty revealed. . . A look at the beautiful color on her butt and her little white tail! Why she's on a diet! (Taken through the tank glass--the letters on my sweatshirt are in the reflection.) And can you resist this (somewhat blurry) face? Thought balloon: "Look what I have for you, Mommy!" (referring to strategically placed poop) Note the colored belly with a little white. I'm hoping that these photos will define her coloring better for the person on another forum who's trying to figure out just what she is. . .

You put the poop there for effect? ;D Very pretty. I like the little white tail. I am investigating colors. . . will get back on that. Best to Jayde. - - - - - - BTW, my Memorial Gallery MAJOR update is nearing completion. Whew. I will post when done. done for now, that is.

www.angelfire.com/wv2/woodview_hamstery/colors/dwarfcolors.htmlI would say she is a mottled argente. But I can't tell if she has normally red eyes or if it is the flash. If I am correct, give me credit! Always cite your references! - - - - - - I have not had a dwarf in a long time. The last rescue died some time ago. I don't even see that many.

She is so cute; the pictures I like the best is when she's looking up at you. If she's ashamed to be on a diet, you can tell her the Paws animals are on ones too. Jayde is soo adorable!!

Argente is an agouti color (white belly), as are opal and fawn. Jayde is a "self color" because her belly is not white. The thought is that she is a "silvering dove." Your website doesn't discuss silvering, but you can look it up here: purplekatkritters.tripod.com/dwarf/campcolor.htmlFrom the photos I've seen she seems to be a little too brown to be a dove, but the red eyes and colored belly eliminate agouti colors. Maybe she's a silvering lilac? So long as she has the black gene she may silver, apparently. Her eyes are very dark red--the flash brings them out. I just think she's the most gorgeous little thing! I love the agouti coloring, but I love looking at her because she's so uniquely colored--so much that we can't be sure just what she is!!

You put the poop there for effect? ;D Very pretty. I like the little white tail. SHE put the poop there for effect! I have a thing for hamster tails. It started with the more substantial tails of the Chinese. I loved to play with them, and they didn't mind. Hard to play with a dwarf tail!

If she's ashamed to be on a diet, you can tell her the Paws animals are on ones too. Jayde is soo adorable!! She seemed irritated at first, but so much of her life was changing that she had every right to be. Now she seems to have adjusted and goes nuts when it's time for food at night. She pouches every last bit--Mazuri included! Thanks--she is a cutie! That's why I had to take her home. Well, I liked her personality too. She was a mountaineer in a previous life--she "scales" her mommy and reaches her shoulder in seconds, and will do it again and again. Very agile, she is.

Heather the cockatiel is right behind my ear now. Otherwise rats would be climbing on me - their tails make them easy to grab and find! I don't think any photo can precisely show the color. She looked a mottled argente to me. Too bad that site of yours does have have purple critters. purplekatkritters.tripod.com/dwarf/campcolor.html>> Maybe she's a silvering lilac? << Show me a photo and I will hazard a guess. There is none on that site, which, btw, takes forever to load for me.
