Thought I would put this here rather than the Photo Gallery as it is really an inquiry; perhaps someone has an opinion. I got Max the Blue last December as a youngster, as I posted with photos. He gets the same food as his pals Telly the hairless, Petey the black, and Rangi the hooded B&W. But Max is looking HUGE. Here he is next to Ophelia, a three year old guinea pig. Does he seem huge to you?? Ophelia lost her tankmate, Jessica, yesterday, as I posted in the Memorial forum.

Yes, he does seem really big to me. Then again, my best friend's hamster is freakishly huge (and is a litter-mate to my Darko). Maybe it's in the food?

It is the same food his three friends get, as I mentioned. And they are not strikingly big. *shrugs*
I have asked on the rmca forum; maybe those rat people have some ideas.

I know little about rats, but he does look huge!
Does he have a brown fur spot on the left side of his back (first photo)?

No, just a smudge. The folks on the rmca forums are saying he is indeed BIG. But not obese.

He does look huge! I would ask Linda or Angie about that, as they're the rat experts.
