I have a long list of themed names for groups of future rats. I just saw the quotation by James Herriot on the top of the main page, and that reminded me that I was thinking of the "Herriott Rats" as my next group ;D : James, Seigfreid, and Tristan....hey, and maybe a Tricky-Woo! By the way, I never though about this until the entries about ST/SW on my Locutus thread...I never even thought of a SW group. Yup, a Trekkie, through 'n through ;D

I had many themes. Look at my Memorial Gallery in my sig - loads of deceased critters and many themes. I did gems, for example. Most interesting was Rainy's surprise litter of hamsters most of whom were female. I named them after famous women from ancient history, such as Boudicca, Zenobia, Theodora, Hypatia, Makeeda, etc.
I am now down to gods from Tonga and names of trees from New Zealand!

Sometimes I try to do themes for names. I have a lot of glass/ceramic animals and the most for themes I have is SW, ST, and Biblical. Other than that I name them on how they look.
