So, for weeks I was wondering why there was so much RF static interference on my television screen. Thought someone in the area was violating FCC guidelines with some device. This still may be with my radio reception. But, today I discovered the cause! The cable from the digital converter to the VHS/DVR box, which leads to the TV, was. . . gnawed on by the female rats whose cage had been temporarily near it briefly! They are now in a bigger cage elsewhere. Reception is now perfect. So, don't let rats near your electronics cables.

I did not think they were that close. They must have very pointy noses. If they had gnawed it through I would have replaced it at once for almost nothing, but they did just enough to cause interference. - - - - - - BTW, that new vet I took my rabbit to (see Rabbits forum) also does rat lumpectomies. Finally I found one!
