I said I'd post this a long time ago... Well, here's a couple photos: Millie: Silver: I have a few photos of Dizzy on my phone and some day I'll transfer them to photobucket so I can share. But these are our two little girls. They actually got to play outside today (a wire cage without the bottom is good for that so they can actually see grass and dirt and such). They're very tired in these photos.

Do they ever practice "Rodentistry" on you? This is very common among rat owners, and we think it cute.

I think Ben (my son) said Dizzy used to do that for him. They do work on our fingernails and attempt to groom the tops of our heads. I still have pierced ears (a throw-back to my headbanging days that I still indulge occasionally) and when I've got hardware in there, they play with them. One time Millie went over to the cat (he's nearly 20) and began to groom the top of his head. Emory (the cat) thought that was OK. I don't know if Millie had ever really seen a cat before that.

I think when a critter reaches a certain "cut off" size it becomes too big for a cat. Some of my rats are not large, so they do NOT play with cats even supervised.
