Someone asked about pellets in the Cuteness forum's thread about Petey.
OK, we have LM Animal Farms Classic Mouse & Rat Food. (basically, it is lab blocks). LM is owned by Hartz now. 22% protein, 5% fat and 5% fiber. The rats eat it. Although they may not love it! This has been around for many years. www.lnt.com/product/rat-mouse/55398/lm-animal-farms-classic-mouse-rat-food-4-lbs.html
Now, we have something new that some people I trust speak well of:
Carefresh Complete, food for mouse & rat. Protein 18%, fiber 10%, fat 4%. It contains mostly smaller pellets than the LM plus some corn and some seeds and very small pellet fragments.

So far, the rats seem to eat it.
I am not getting any other kind of lab blocks/pellets; I have enough hassles and do not need mail orders. So please, no other brands. These I can buy locally.
