oh WOW i guess that most I can take care of is maybe 3 or less but not like +20 animals! Looks like you are a great owner^^ Do you have all the cages spread out in your house? To help dial up users.... here is a picture of my set-up. This is my "rodent Room" downstairs in my home... Most of my tanks are kept there unless i am doing a split cage introduction and I need to keep a close eye on the gerbils, or if they are an animal in quarantine, those ones are kept upstairs, either in my living room or kitchen Upstairs my Bunnies live in the living room (as they are part of the family, like a persons cat would be) My Livingroom AKA Bunny Central LOL yeay for bunny proofing LOL

About your bunny. Mine when let loose rare chews anything, but he hides a lot. Never been scared by anything in here, but hiding is his thing. Which he'd follow me around like a dog. What's with yours?
So Whizz stares at them or what? He sure looks interested.
I like his ears up listening to the gerbs!
Great looking place. What "bunny proofing" did you do?? With mine, he does not gnaw unless he sees something losse dangling over a table edge - I lost a pair of good headphones that way, and a coat! My fault, not his.

What's with yours? I give mine alot of cardboard boxes and tubes to chew, so that keeps them busy, they are big chewers. They love paper, oh and the buttons on my remotes! Baby follows me around, and they are both interested in the dog, but when they sniff or touch her she runs away from them LOL. I ahev taught her she's not alloud to actually touch any of my pets, so i think that has something to do with it. Yup, she's constantly staring at them. She always checks all the tanks at night before bed. And when they are running around in the living room she sits on the other side of the play pen fence. Some of the other critters are really interested in her and i catch them sniffing each other. But If i am herre in my office, she is wherever I am, she will go out check on rodents and come back. I know if something is going on when she's excited and runs back to me, it usually means someone is fighting. I have removed all my plants covered around the TV and all my DVD/VHS movies as the bunnies like to chew those things. I put blankets down for any accidents, baby isn't litter tained but we're working on it. around their hutch i have tile on the floor, under it is another carpet peice, this all protects my carpet, adn the cardboard on the walls around the hutch to stop any splashes hitting my walls. My house is only 3 years old and it's our first home, so i'm a bit paranoid. the living room is also blocked off so the bun's don't have the run of my whole house. There are no wires in site in my living room, as Jack is a big wire eater. oh and I have to keep my strings on my blinds out of bunny reach, baby is a naughty boy LOL These are my first bunnies, and i love them so much! it's almost weird i never had bunnies before.

Wow. I see you have horses in the background, any favorites there?
I know you said Whizz is a mix of three dogs combined, but he sure looks like a Canaan Dog there.
Do you wash all the cages at once or on seperate days?

Do you wash all the cages at once or on seperate days? Yes, I'm a horsey nut I used to own/train horses but stopped about 5 years ago now. it's an expencive hobby, and to much politics. I also collect Breyer Horse Modles, have since I was like 9 or 10, so i have many. I even put extra insurance on my house insurance for them. I watched a program on Dingo's and thought wow Whizz acts and looks like them! When we adopted her were were told GSD/Golden Lab, but when I took her to a trainer she pointed out the boarder collie, and then so did my Vet (White toes & tail tip kinda gave it away). But as a rescue anything could be possible ack, cleaning cages LOL.... Well the hamsters are done once a week, so I do them at the same time. The gerbils I try to do all at one time, but sometimes it takes 2 nights, depends on how much time I have and well if I'm lazy or not I usually do them Wednesday nights b/c Thursday morning is garbage day! My garbage man is going to be super buff after lifting all that litter LOL Bunnies are done twice a week, and the rats I'm taking care of I try to do every second day or so b/c they smell SO BAD!

Whoa! I was thinking about getting rats! Now I wonder. . .

So she is just curious? Protective?

Three years! I have undershirts older than that.
My rabbit does nothing when out, unless some clothes or wires are hanging down loose in front of him. My gerbs once got to the wire of the headphone I had on - in an instant SNIP, and that was the end of a twenty dollar pair!

I think alot of it has to do they are on news print, and have no litter that actually absorbs. They are also un-nutered males. I thought about rats one day... i've decided againt it because I just can't take the smell. My livingroom smells like Urine from them. I would say Both. She enjoys watching them, and get's excited when they are acting all hyper and crazy. That's why I think she's more interested in them when I am around, b/c they usually act all silly when they want me to play with them. LMAO.... Trust me I know, I have clothes from high school... mind you i'd never fit them now lol Your buns seems pretty mellow? Do you know how old he is? Mine have each other to chase and be naughty. Baby is the terror, he climbs on everything and eats/chews everything! He also pees on my floor Jackpot is a fatty and likes to lounge around, though he will try and binkie every once and a while he's only 1 so still a baby. But if I leave food out, like a bowl of gerbil food you bet once i turn around that little fatty is munching away... he really likes gerbil food

I see. Males. If I got rats they would be females.
Poppy is about 32 months old. I got him in late February 2004, and he seemed about three to four months old then, and was underfed. I think those photos are up somewhere here. His personality has never changed.

Some Buns are just mellower then others. Jack is pretty mellow compaired to Baby. I wish I had a "cuddley" Bun, my boys are big on cuddling, and don't try and pick Jack up when he has food on his mind!

If Poppy's legs dangled when picked up from under the belly he would kick and struggle. No more.
Time to check his nails. . .
