So Whizz finds gerbils (safely), by smell?? I have an escaped gerb right now and I wish he was here.

Yup, i say "where's the gerbil", and if it's in the same room she will sniff it out so I can pick it up I've done this a few times now, and she's really good! And she's never hurt any of my critters, even the time she was caught alone with an escapee (that I didn't know was on the loose). Ya you could you the expert Whizz skills

Wow! Whizz sure is smart! But being part GSD and part Border Collie, these are two very smart breeds, so I'm not surprised!
I can't wait to have a dog one day!
