HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAPRI!Today is Capri's first birthday! The day she came home - I was given Capri after her tail was eaten my a kitty cat, no one wants to buy a half tailed gerbil so she came home with me. Capri came to me with Malibu, they lived together for some time but once split caged with Maserati it was love at first site. Maserati and little Capri were best of friends untill Maseratis untimely death in March of this year. I felt so bad that little Capri was living alone, so I adopted one of my (inbred) foster pups, a lilac I named Sonada. Capri was a little devil in the split cage, but so was Sonada, Capri is missing at least 3 toes now from the pup. Unfortunetly Sonada had some real problems and died just months after they were introduced. It seems Capris luck wasn't so good, and I was even worried to put her with another gerbil as two had just up and died allready, I wasn't willing to loose another. But I gave in, and split caged her with Alero my single black pup who was allready a year at that time. Again it was a nasty split cgae, Capri bit off half of Aleros tail... but soon after that they were best of friends, and well still are today, they are my "Ying & Yang" with those matching tails... Happy Birthday to Capri, my first and only solid nutmeg! Let's see many more to come!

Happy Birthday Capri! That's so good that she has a tank mate now, they look nice together. Is Capri getting any presents or a special treat? Sorry about your other two gerbils.
