That paint is gorgeous! We used to have a colt that was a similar colour. That chestnut (or sorrel, hard to tell from the picture) has gorgeous conformation! I'm drooling a little bit. Too much chrome for my taste but darn, he's pretty! I wonder what his lines are.
Looks like you had an absolutely beautiful trail ride! Lucky duck.

The horses look lovely, and I wish I was there! Otherwise, I don't know enough to add anything.

Are you talking about Taylor? He's chestnut flaxen main and tail, and he's actually a registered paint b/c of all that chrome LOL I like paints, but not a ton of chrome myself on regular colours. I didn't fall in love with Tay until I rode him. I'm mad I never got to ride this weekend and tomorrows supposed to be rainy

I rarely saw mine popcorn. They are missed, even though poop in the Summer is a hassle.

Speaking of poop, you must go through a lot of litter, how do you dispose of it? I'm guessing a big bin since you are in an apartment? We have weight and limit restrictions on garbage where I am. I only get one can, and when i started out, holy smokes was that can heavy with litter. Now the rabbit litter goes to the shelter in bags where people pick up the bags to compost. Because of the back farm field i also sometimes dump stuff out there. One of my friends with lots of litter would fill her car full of the bags and then drive around the city looking for open dumpsters to sneak them into LOL

Nice horses! Those paints are gorgeous! Looks like you and your family had a nice trail run; I like the Lab (or Golden) in the picture too. You've probably said this a million times already, but what was that beautiful paint's name? The one you liked the most.

I would have had a better ride if the saddle wasn't for a child's bum and the stirups for a short person LOL... so uncomfortable. Oh, yeah i think that was a golden, he didn't come with us, but two others did, a Black Lab and a Burnese or St. Burnard cross type.
I don't know any of the roping horses other then the two i ride. Yesterday before my ride, the lady i ride for told me she almost came home with a Paint Horse for me LOL... someone was selling it cheap b/c they think it had an unexplained lameness... she believes he may have been improperly shoed. A new horse came in for training yesterday, realy cute amazingly well bred Quarter horse... though she's a paint, has small paint markings, very pretty.

How come you didn't get the proper saddle and stirrups? Whoa, a Bernese/St. Bernard cross, huge dog! Oh my co-worker has a Quarter/Paint and I'm trying to remember what she said they're called. Argh.

The horses were already saddled, they obviously didn't have another saddle i could replace it with and i didn't want to complain and wreck anyones trip. I just didn't use the stirups often LOL
The dog was one of those breeds crossed with soemthing with a shorter coat, still a big dog, very pretty too.
