Aw, poor mouse. They all had good lives though, may they rest in peace. Maybe you could go online to try and find some. Or try petfinder.com

Tried that. Both options have limitations at best. Yes, I rescued those spiny mice a long time ago. You can surely find the old thread in Mice. They were all jammed together in a small tank, both sexes.

Keep looking, please. I have two left, and one old black mouse, Bernie, who has lost a lot of fur. Cute in his messed up way. I an name the spiny's now that they are one per tank. Will take photos and try to post asap. Bernie has a nice place with tons of stuff to hide in.
Oddly' I also have a totally feral mouse who happened to be found in a tank before I moved. He was lucky as he too has lots of stuff, and I rarely see him! But now and then I do. Impossible to control though, unlike the others.
