Welcome back! LOVE the photos! I find it so cool when couples get out of the box of tradition and make their union their own. Glad you had a beautiful day for it all. "Up-country": still BC? I've been in Alberta and remember vistas similar to what you show. The honeymoon of my long-gone marriage was in Colorado and Wyoming, some of it spent keeping company with cowboys at a hunting camp and riding through golden aspens on horse- and muleback. So happy that you have someone in your life to support you through all the rough stuff.

Wow, again! These are great!! So so nice to have you back here. Thanks very much. Celsie looks so skinny when wet! Buddy is lucky. Please check the Rabbit forum for the amazing story of my rabbits. Cuter tattoo. Fantastic breathtaking scenery, and that shot of the moon and campfire is great. Nice shot with the rings. Would I (and would Katie!) love to horseback ride around there! Bet it gets too cold for that three or four months out of the year? You look beautiful in your wedding dress, and very healthy! Hard to believe you have an problems; all seems idyllic. Best for the marriage. I appreciate all this VERY much. Thank you. --------- BTW, in the Announcements forum you'll see we are having trouble with smilies. need toi update them. Same with your avatar. Later. . .

I'm glad you all enjoyed the pictures! This was in Clinton BC, it's about 4 hours from here. I am a traditional person in some ways, but I wanted our wedding to be about us, and not what other people think weddings 'should' be like. I've been told it was the best wedding by far from so many of my guests. It's funny though, My Dad & Grandparents came up a day early and thought "What the hell is she thinking" LOL They soon changed their minds. The Friday night before our wedding we got an amazing show of the Northern Nights, None of us who had already seen them had ever seen them this far south. And others had never seen them at all. It was an amazing sight. You can horseback ride all year long here. Horses grow winter coats. The only issues that can happen is snow balling up under the horses hoof, making it like they are wearing ice skates. I help out on my friends farm regularly and I enjoy round penning the horses. Learning the communication between them and us is just so cool. The horse I am most fond of is a little Quarter Horse Stallion named Muddy. I spend much of my time with him. This was a sign I made for our trip down to Utah in October. Most amazing trip I want to go back next year because I enjoyed it SO much. Utah is so beautiful. We went with members of our 4 Wheel Drive Club for a week. The drive sucked, took 2 days. But when we got there it was all worth it. Oh and another Birthday present I got from a friend of mine LOL

Just learned about the Winter coats on horses. Didn't know. Figured there also might be tons of snow on the ground.
I think the whole wedding idea was great. I'd like it especially as it is entirely different from my life here in NYC.
The Northern Lights. That ius cool to see. I will check the location of Clinton, BC, on a map. . .Oh, it's in southern BC about the same latitude as Calgary. The Northern Lights WERE really far south. Luck you. Still that is farther north than I have ever been - St Bonaventure Island on the Gaspe Peninsula looking at gannets.
Katie knows this story about fur. My mother long long ago wanted really wanted a seal skin coat. Black, none of that horrendous white baby seal stuff. Ugh. But, some months after she got it she learned the brutal way the furs are "taken". She never wore it again, and it is hanging in my closet now. I was very proud of her.
Thanks again for the pix. I responded to your story in the other thread.

Great pictures Andrea!! Your dog is very cute (is he good with your rabbits?) and the horses are so pretty!! You and your husband look nice together. I can't believe you could get on a horse with your wedding gown on, weren't you afraid it may get dirty? Glad you had a great time and that's awesome you saw the Northern Lights!!

My Mother had a Black Rabbit Fur coat .... yeah she doesn't wear it either. My Dad wants to use the fur for Fly Tying. But back in the 'old days' that was fashion and there was less information on how these garments came to be.
Celsie is great with the rabbits .... he pretty much could care less of them half the time LOL He does think he's a little bigger then he actually is. I call him my Cat when people make fun if his size. I'm allergic to cats so he makes a great replacement cat LOL Double coats & yappy are not for me, I still have a thing for the pom poms, but they are terrible bred and I will probably never own one.
We have no choice in our Cannan. This pup will be picked from the breeder to us. It will most likely be Black & White and both bitch and stud and those colours. We have said we don't care about what sex either (Though Ryan wants a Female, but he'll love a male all the same)
I got on the horse in that dress ALL by myself LOL, and yes it got very dirty. It was just filthy by the time I took it off, so dirty I couldn't wear it to my second reception LOL $200 later it was clean

$200 to clean the dress! Wow. I see how long it is. Hope the photos were worth it.
Yappy is not for me either. Papillons are not so, I assume
If the Canaan is a female will that make things more difficult until spayed? I mean, with cats when the go into season, well, they are not that pleasant to be around!
My cats and rabbits get along just fine.
