Helloooo everyone! I'm just resurfacing to say "hello" and to thank DF for having kept me on this forum even though I don't think I've been around since my last rat died, which is a couples years now. I welcome the direct emails that I get from time to time! I haven't decided if I will get more ratties...just moved to a MUCH smaller place and I'm just not made of the tough enough stuff that one needs to emotionally survive frequent losses. However, never say never, and I've hung onto my two best cages and a ton 'o gear, so if I do "GMR", I'll be well equipped! I hope you're all well, and that your beloved critters are, too! Nice to see so many familiar names still here! Linda

So nice to have you drop by! In the past month after very long absences Andrea and Dezzi8 also have. In fact, I was gone for a long time owing to personal stuff that was very distressing.
Some people, such as Katie, feel as you do. I understand. I've always said, however, they do live short lives, that I cannot change, but I can be sure they live their full natural lives, and good ones!
Check out, if you wish, what we've been up to. Don't have to have pets to comment.

Hey Linda, glad you're back!! That's great that you're doing well and that you may get some more rats when you can. Things are sort of slow here, but I'm hoping they move quickly soon. Luke is doing well, but hates the heat. See you around.

Greetings, Linda! Good to hear from you! I'm with DF--I can handle the losses--but I know many who can't. But you were a great rattie mommy, and if the opportunity presents itself maybe you will indeed dust off the cages and etc.!
