I'm sitting here typing, and out the corner of my eye I can see this repetitive action. I look, and I thought Hugh had Locutus by the foot and was tugging on it, causing L. to keep yanking back his foot. No! It's Locutus, stuffing his face at the food dish, and casually and repeatedly pushing back with one hind leg into Hugh, keeping him trapped in the hut so he can't come out and eat, too!! Little brat!! Time for a second dish!! Linda

Aww, poor Hugh.
I remember that Theo used to do that with Benny, except Theo would take all the seeds and Benny couldn't have any. So what I did was take both of them out, put one on each leg and give them seperate seeds. It was funny to watch because while Theo would pocket them, Benny would eat them. And Theo would look at me as if to say, "My sister is so slow, can I pplleeaassee have another seed!?" ;D

A second dish is indeed needed.
In a tank of mice I sometimes throw in a piece of food, such as a Combo snack, or half a Milk Bone, and I then watch the hilarity as they start squeaking and tugging and running for it. It gets quite entertaining. ;D
