I've had my 2 new boys for about a month now, and they've grown some, I think. I'm pretty sure they're bigger in "that" department than when I first got them. I had my first 2 rats neutered, and I don't intend to have these guys neutered unless something comes up aggression-wise, which I don't anticipate. So...my questions is...are there any health conditions that can arise around their naughty furry bits? I've already read threads elsehwher about the penis proper, but not about the family jewels Linda

My biggest worry was always wearing a large padded cup when I played football. Be sure they do they same! ;D Of course, testicular cancer is always a problem - but Lance Armstrong wins championships with only one, so there you are. With my Syrians I had "Pom Pom contests", and Zeb always won. You can Search for him on this site and see them. You could do the same for rats. I saw a Giant Gambian Pouched Rat on TV - and they were half as big as he was!

That pouched rat was being used in Mozambique to sniff out mines after the wars there. I saw him on globetrekker, the tv show. If my testicles we proportionately as big as his they'd be the size of honeydew melons! But a very tame friendly rat. And he was safe as those mines were all set off by weight, and he was way too light.
