OMG, after someone on another list suggested it, I finally gave my rat boys a lunch bag to play with!!! At first they seemed a little scared of the crinkling. They mostly got over that, and were sniffing it, and trying to stand on it, which made it crinkle some more. Hugh seemed to get very excited about the whole thing! They didn't do much beyond that, so I cut the end off, and propped it in the hopes they would realized they could also go through it. Nope. Well, Hugh DID end up sticking his head in a couple of times, but pulled out quick as the bag seemed to be stuck on him. Lots more excitement and running around So...I then tore a little bit to get them started. That seemed to get them a bit more interested and they've been pulling it around the cage some. I just notice them trying to drag the whole thing into the igloo! LOL It's great, they are really interested and it's keeping them busy, trying to figure out how they'll maneuver it! Linda

I am not sure what a lunch bag is made of or looks like. I may be confusing them with plastic sandwich bags. Sounds like they had fun. I am going to get a bra today. No, my pectorals are not droopy - I lift loads of weights! But it seems that the bigger ones might make a hammock thing for them or some kind of interesting toy, like you bag. What do you think?

To save money, you can buy them at thrift stores (wash/bleach well), or the cup pieces at a sewing place. Linda PS: I took a video of the bag (which is a small paper bag), I'll see if it turned out.

Just a brown paper bag? Open on BOTH sides? Yes, I get my bras for a buck at a 99 cent store. Maybe they'd like an old jock too.

I'm not sure if he looks cute, or utterly pathetic!

My boys love the bag-games, sometimes I fill them with paper-pieces and rat-candy so they have to search for the candy I think Locutus is adorable, it looks like he's begging for attention
