Hi, everyone! I got this from another group, sent from Debbie Ducommun, "The Rat Lady". Although she says "they won't be showing this scene again" my understanding from other emails is that they did not air it. Some people had seen it on commercials and that's what started the campaign rolling:
"Great work everyone, we won! I talked with Kathy Bauch, the Director of Corporate Relations and Promotions at the Humane Society of the United States today, and she verified that Fox will not be showing the horrible microwave scene on TV ever again. She negotiated with them to bring about this outcome...."

I figured the HSUS would be on it. Here is another for you from many years ago (five or six). WABC TV local news in NYC presented a a story of a "rat infestation", supposedly, in a lower income area of Manhattan (Washington Heights). They were catching rats and then releasing them one at a time and people would take turns smashing them with cricket bats like a medieval sport. I went nuts contacting many groups. Here is the cool thing. The idiot female reporter who cheerfully covered this "news" story, Sade Baderwina, was a month later herself smashed by a hit and run driver who was never caught. She suffered a broken arm and other injuries. She is now back on the air. But I found the irony of this true karma. And I did not feel sorry for her.
