Many months ago Jerry the dwarf (whose photos I have posted before) lost his left-eye (poked by a piece of hay?): it got rapidly cloudy, slightly, enlarged, and shortly. . . vanished. But he is fine with one big red right eye. I am tired of people telling me "mites are microscopic". (Well mange mites are), or saying "Maybe it is lice or fleas". If you don't know, don't guess. Here is Jerry - a dwarf. Check these out: You can plainly see things on the fur - those were the "mites" after feeding. Before feeding they are smaller, obviously. They are obviously tiny, and Ultra Care spray got rid of them. Permethrin or Sevin/cabaryl dust also helps.

Well, recently my Chihuahua caught mites in his fur after running in a field with me, and they looked WAY different then the bugs on your hamsters fur, so I dont think that Jerry has mites. I'm not saying that I'm 100% correct, because I'm only looking at some pictures that you posted. Are you sble to zoom in on them anymore?
