As often happens, I was in a pet store where they know me, and I was offered a critter needing rescue - a dwarf bloody and beat up by some others in a tank. It seems two females don't want any more males around, for some reason. Any, he needs a name. Hamwolf came up with a great one last time - Enjo. It could apply to males or females (just in case I mistakelnly sexed this one). Here are the photos, after he groomed off some dried blood.

Awwww--I want to pick him up and tell him that everything's going to be all right now. . . That second picture is funny--looks kinda like he has a mohawk! ;D I'm not great with names. Hamwolf--we need you once more!

I will stay with Kimi. Sadly, the poor guy passed away 24 hours after I brought him home. He groomed himself and did not seem too badly off. He was a little lethargic in the morning and gone when I got back. I suppose the infection (?) was underway too soon. We tried. That is all we can do. He will be buried with a name in my usual place.

The two dwarfs I fostered were named Keeba and Negi (i think i spelt it wrong though), they were sweet little guys. One passed away recently in their new home.
Congrats on the new addition.
