Well at least a time for celebration! Today I officially adopted Happy Gilmore, one of my 5 foster dwarf hammy boys! Happy and his brothers were found tossed in a garbage can. They came to SARSBC and through SARS came to me. When i met Happy, I named him first, I knew he was a special little guy. Recently Happy became aggressive (sexually aggressive too) towards his brothers, and hurt one of his brother Mr.Deeds, so he had to be removed from the group. He now lives alone, but doesn't seem to mind, we spend lots of time together and I plan on having him come to trade show and events to help educate families on small animals.

>> Happy and his brothers were found tossed in a garbage can. << I have known of a number of stories such as this, and all I can say is if I caught them they would not be walking away unscathed. But then there are people such as you, and education helps. He is a very cute fellow, and I now feel sad that my last six dwarfs have long gone and I have no dwarfs right now. That is up to the vagaries of the pet stores that know me, and my friends at the rescue group .

I had him out playing last night, he is such a hoot. He loves wheels, so I have two different wheels for him in the play pen. He would run back and forth to each wheel, run in one for a bit, then run to the other and run in it for a bit. Such a funny little guy.
