I was directed to this forum by another PetsHub member yesterday, I believe and today I decided to join and post up pictures of my babies! I have a whole load of pictures of my babies taken over the past two months and then some located here: img66.photobucket.com/albums/v200/laurelyn/mice/and I have pictures of some of my little ones as babies here: img66.photobucket.com/albums/v200/laurelyn/Mouse%20Baby%20Days/Please feel free to browse! Mice have been a passion of mine only since about October of last year when my former roommate and I (I'm in college) decided to buy a small pet for our dorm room. We had planned on getting a hamster, but we saw two of my now mice bouncing around and they were jus so adorable we had to buy them (plus, they were cheaper). They ended up being of two different sexes and hence they multiplied and we ended up with 9 little babies (5 boys, 4 girls). I just recently lost two of my darlings Kinky and Cider to genetic problems and this has motivated me to push past pet stores and purchase my mice from breeders instead. One pet shop I went to told me there was no one in the store that could tell one sex apart from the other...honestly, it's not that hard! It just gets me so frustrated when people say stuff like that! I've been in contact with two "local" breeders lately (one about an hour and a half away, but I'm willing to do it for mice!) and hope to be purchasing a long-hair and a satin sometime in the near future to add to my mouse family!

Oh, they are so adorable! What sweeties. I like the expression on Tig's face. Welcome to the board
