I have just cleaned Blaze out and decided to take a few pictures of her pups. Look at the tiny little pup, well thats Nitro! I would say he's the runt. Washing line anyone? Everyone seems to pile on top of little Nitro! Even Diesel has a go! He definitely has his mom's markings. A nice treat of warm milk and bread, they all had such mucky faces when they had finished! As you can see, there all doing very well. I'm a little worried about Nitro, he is alot smaller than the other 7. However he does eat alot and he don't let the others boss him about! Kane

Squeeeeee! They're gorgeous, you must be so proud I love the cream one with grey ears, looks just like one of my old hammies that had a surprise litter. What do you call that colouring? Awww I love baby hammies Also I thought milk was bad for rodents as they're lactose intolerant? I give mine soya milk as a treat instead of regular milk, they like it a lot more and it's better for them

ARE they lactose intolerant?? Does that mean no yogurt or cottage cheese either?? What about cheese? Keep an eye on the little guy; i once had one that was too small and weak when I finally tried to feed him with an eyedropper. Cute bunch!

DF: As far as I can tell, yes they are. Just the same as we are. We're the only species of animal that chooses to drink another animal's milk, our bodies aren't built for it but can take it up to a point, but I am led to believe that rodents can get diarrhea/tummy upset from it. Of course a /little/ as a treat shouldn't do any harm but I don't do it just in case They love soya replacements anyway

I never gave them much, but they occasionally got yogurt, cheese, or cottage cheese. They didn't seem to especially like it, but what they ate didn't do anything to them I could see.

DF: I think the "or not" at the end of the sentance meant that they were joking

I don't know, Kane. That second shot looks suspiciously like a line-up of the usual suspects.... ;D
