That is really fascinating. I would likely not want them owing to their increased susceptibility to disease. My mouse breeder had one that looked a hundred years old owing to the wrinkles! YIKES!! The guinea pigs are scary, especially the Baldwin! No offense to the little fella, but I think I saw him in the movie "Alien". ;D I suppose you can get used to them. Thanks for posting that.

I remembered, the Baldwin DOES look like an alien pet I saw in Biolab in Star Trek the Next Generation:

LOL Baldwins in space...
Ya when I was breeding mice I was offered a hairless male at some point. I picked him and looked at him, and he looked back at me and seemed to say "please don't make more of me." He was so sad looking.
