Ok, so this morning I'm asked if I can pick up some Degus that were dropped off at the Animal Control here where I live. Animal control only houses dogs here, so they had NO clue what to do, that's why they called SARS. Anyways, some young people dropped off the 5 Degus in a tupperware container with no holes in the lid this morning, saying an old roomate moved out and left the "disgusting' critters there. So I now have 5 Degus here, 3 girls who I've named Cici, Pipa & Tiki, and their two brothers i have not names yet. And now to the pictures.... This one would be Cici, she decided to just hop right into my head (squishing my glasses lol) and walk around on me like we're always been good friends.... Talk about friendly! This would be Cici & Pipa

Lucky degus. Wish I could grab some.
Of course be sure they go to good places if you can't keep them (how could you part with them now?).

Well I keep telling myself, if these guys find loving homes, then i will have more room to help other animals who don't have loving homes. I must admit though, Cici is a blast! She's so much fun. I just hope none of the females are pregnent.
