Hey Robin guess what!? Carrie wrote back to me! I can only get one though, we'll see if my heart can take two, but since I still live at home & need money for other things. I think it'd be unnescessary to get two right now. Anyways....I just needed to know something about long-haired hamsters since I've never owned one before. So, if I get another CT for him/her, will the tubes be painful to go through with the long hair? It won't get caught will it? And I do have to brush their hair, this I know. Is there a special brush I need? I'm going to go up this week & check two of them out. They'll be boys, never had a boy before. So I guess I'll see how my little ________ will be. Name will be revealed later, don't tell Robin! I'm so excited!!! ;D

The only problem I had with long hair is that with some wheels it ended up wrapped around the hub like with a spindle! One time the hamster was caught and trapped! That was a Comfort Wheel. Better try something else for long hairs!

Oh, Katie, I'm SO excited for you! ;D And my lips are sealed! I've never had anything but Chinese hams, so I can't give advice on wheels or tubes. That's cool that you are making a trip there. Yardley is a nice little community. I've eaten at an Italian restaurant there. It's been flooded out a few times lately, though. Maybe you saw the footage on the news. I saw it when I was in Pittsburgh! Good luck with it all! ;D

I never needed to brush Prince or Princess. You can see photos of them with a forum Search. Both long-hair banded sables. And much beloved.

No comfort wheel, got it. I changed his name as I always think of our stuffed dog, Luke, and that our dog someday will be Luke. I told Robin the newest name for him & I think I'm going with it. His name will be revealed later & it's perfect for him! I just hope their hair isn't that frizzy. Are boys different from girls?

>> Are boys different from girls? <<
Girls are made of sugar and spice and everything nice.
They also have a slight odor every 4th or 5th day when in season; boys have big testicles. If mine were similarly proportionate to body size they be the size of grapefruit.
