Yes, it is terrible how all those people died and it could've been adverted if only they had put more lifeboats on. I read about the Californian and her captain, both are interesting read too.
There were a lot of shows on about the Titanic. We taped one and the movie A Night to Remember, one of the best Titanic films in my opinion.
Pres. Lincoln was a great President. It was sad the way he died although I heard he had a feeling he would go soon. He did a lot in his time as President.

I recorded a lot of shows on this, which I'll get to. I recorded it on the DVR/TIVO type thing I got from the cable company. Even when I turn the power off it seems to be warm - a lot of electricity I am paying for. Maybe I should unplug it when not in use for a long time. . . One of the discussed problems was the steel hull was not of the highest quality and the cold of the water made it brittle, and such. There are still some fanatics - Ron Paul nuts and neo-Confederates - who hate Lincoln.  |
