Hello,
my name is Chelsea, even though my user name does not say that. I got my user name from a TV show about animals.
I'm new here and decided to introduce myself and my gerbils.
I currently have 10 gerbils, soon to be more as I'm expecting another litter. five of my gerbils are from my founding females first two litters. I kept her entire first litter which had about four in it and I kept one pup from the second litter. She is now retired.
Four of the other gerbils are from a local petshop and the last is from a breeder. I breed Schimmels, Pied, spotted, Colorpoint, and self gerbils and usually have gerbil available.
I look forward to chatting with you all, an if anyone is interested in adopting my gerbil pups, feel free to PM me!
-Chelsea

Hi, and welcome. And sorry for any TEMPORARY inconvenience in posting. You know what I mean. Your location is what state? I just rescued two gerbils, but I still need one female for a lone female. I have mentioned all this in other posts in the Gerbil forum. Ever hear of a "red fox" gerbil? Looked like a "satin red" fancy mouse - gorgeous. Never seen one except in photos.

yes, i've heard of a red fox. I'm located in Florida. I used to own a red fox but sold her along with her mother and sister. I'm expecting a litter of schimmel babies around the ed of september. I'm very happy and excited!
Oh and also, if anyone needs help with genetics and color or anything, i'll be sure to try and help you.

I can't adopt any from Florida though, being here in NYC. I mentioned mice as I have some gorgeous fancies, and I cannot let their genes go to waste so I am breeding two females with one guy. All this will be in the Mice forum. I rarely breed; I often rescue. Wish someone could help me with the mice: kanez.proboards22.com/index.cgi?board=Mice&action=display&thread=1149206255You see the male mouse, and there is the red satin, and their is a chocilate satin. based on your general knowledge of genetics, what will I get after breeding? Any ideas? BTW, I see in your photos the gerbs have whole kernel corn, which comes in some mixes. Mine do not like it and I canot recall them eating it. Do yours?

Gerbils should be kept in PAIRS.
