Let them eat caique! (To paraphrase Marie Antoinette). 
My friend and animal rescue confrere, Susan, is moving, so I get TONS of animal-related stuff, plus I got to visit her parrots which were being stashed for a few days at the pet store where she worked as a supervisor.
Sam and Milo, two blackheaded caiques. Lovely birds.
They were both friendly and I had them on my finger; I could pet them - but Milo did NOT want to get back in the cage. And he tried to hold on real tight to my fingers with his beak. I don't think he tried to bite me but it was bloody nonetheless.
But Milo is fine.
