Owing to the bad weather I could stay home and add a lot of photos, and photo albums, today. And I did! Check them out. Here is another. At Green-Wood Cemetery, on top of a new headstone for a Civil War vet: Geese at Green-Wood: Of all the photos I posted today, I especially like the ones with the squirrel and butterflies.

Nice. I don't know if the birds where you live are doing this, but the Robins and others are flying really low here. Lower than normal, but not enough to ward you off from a nest. They're getting braver.

Maybe that's it - nest building and nest protection. I don't see enough different birds to tell. Lots of pigeons.

No, it's not nest protection. I would know since I've been dive bombed before, this is just "Hey let's see how close we can fly and spook the human today. Hehe."
And they're bolder. Normally when they saw Luke, they'd fly the coop quickly, not anymore. They just hop away or stay where they are if Luke isn't looking at them. Brave birds!
