my rats are quite elderly and have mammary tumours.Sadly they will not be with us much longer. As I do not wish to get more rats I plan to get a shaws jird then. But until then I still love my ratty girls vodka and Bacardi

Wow. You have quite a lot of photos there. Pallids, too. Yea, their noses are different from mongolians. Feet sem bigger too. How does their personality compare to mongolians?
I have no time to look at all the photos now, but will get back on this later. Thanks for posting the links.
Check the Relaxing Rodents forum here; we have posted a lot of ours previously, and I will post more soon. I'll also give the links to some albums.

will do (when I have time lol) the AOL site is out of date...bigger, better site coming soon Pallids are very sweet, intelligent and active they have better balance than mongs and like to sit on yoru head and watch the world go by!! They breathe very fast and feel as if they are trembling all the time they can be kept in colonies and introducing new colony members is not difficult as it is with mongs BUT most pallids available have cheeseman blood in them and that is likely with my pallid family sadly only when the pups are produced will we be able to find out for sure

That looks like a good idea, but the decision is up to Kane though.
Have you sent it to the AGS? If you would like, I will forward the link to them.
I'm not sure if it's okay to post links to other sites here, but I can't seem to find the rules. Kane, where are the rules for the forum listed? Have they disappeared?

It's nt a forum...just a website I think your thinking of the gerbilshowsuk forum but this has a similar URL only cos I was able to get hold of the gerbilshows.co.uk domain This is just a register where people can find out where to get info on gerbils and I thought it might be a good idea if this forum where included Of course if there is an objection to my link I'll remove it let me know guys
