I've tried some "Whats the best dog for you" type quizzes and they are all over the place. Anyone seen some good ones?
So far the American Eskimo keeps coming up on my list. I love spitz breeds, though am not a fan of white dogs LOL

Again, this leaves out shelter dogs who are mixed breeds. www.selectsmart.com/DOG/COOOL!!! That one references mixed breed dogs right at the top!! I got AED, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (a huge favorite of mine), and the Glen of Imaal Terrier. All with the same score. Try it! Link at the bottom of the main page.

LOL....
I am researching the Alaskan Klee Kai, and the Basenji at the moment. Both dogs i have little experiance with, but a lot of interest in. We are not looking to get a dog yet though, I am lonley but know I would not be in the right mind for a new dog. We have to get past this point of mouring. I am just keeping my mind busy with learning. I emailed an old boss of mine, who bred Basenjis today to find out a little more info on them, and see if he is still breeding them.
I found some more quizes but they are so silly, I didn't post them.

I understand totally how you feel from my experience and that of friends, some stories posted on RR.
See the dog temperament test thread in Dogs. Basenjis are way low. Cane Corsos, believe it or not, are high!
See the new AKC breeds I posted photos of.

You should see them at the dog show! One woman, an owner, was soaked in drool. Big friendly guys, though. She said they were not so bad at home when it was cool.
Let me look for some quizes. . .
