Aw, she's cute and I like the name. When you say a rat has kitten fur, you mean in a sense where the fur is all soft right?

Dezzi, it's great to hear from you!! ;D I'm so sorry though that you can't take your hamsters with you; I always thought planes allowed any animal as long as its in a carrier...odd. When these people take care of your hamsters, they're fostering them for you right?
Also if they are fostering them for you and once you get back to BC, you can meet them part way, driving wise and get them back. Or a local shelter can take care of them for you, I mean foster again, I've heard some do do that.
That's really all I can come up with, but I hope you can eventually find something and take them with you. Can someone from your family meet you partway?
It is good to hear from you again!

It's always great to see new members here! Bud is cute, is he an albino or was that just the camera that made his eyes red?

Aw, she was a cutie. I'm so sorry you lost her that quickly, may she rest in peace. *hugs* I recognized the song you did and I could easily hear it in my head (FotR), beautiful song.

That's nice of that woman to give away her cages to someone who could use them. And yes, it's very frustrating to know someone won't listen to you. And it's even more frustrating when they learn the hard way. *shakes head*

I don't know when I started but I have around six or so left. The ones with the dove and roses look nice. Well I don't know, but I got my change back from some store and low and behold Massachusetts was colored in. So I kept it.

Those are cool. The one we have for Al is long and has glass on all sides, but we allow him to run outside of his cage every day for exercise.

That's cool, we're still doing that. There's one that's my favorite, it's Massachusetts because it's colored in.

I'm not sure where the dog's name come from; I'm sure some website tells it. I remember when my Grandmom asked if there were any dogs from Italy, well this one is. He's the Volpino Italiano and they're a good watchdog, affectionate, and are good-natured. This is them, aren't they pretty?: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volpino_Italiano
