I finally have a picture to show everyone of my bubby Rhythm( bubby is a combo of buddy & baby ). It has been almost two months since he died and so far it isn't getting easier. For awhile I was seeing him around the house or we could hear what sounded like him jumping in and out of his litter box, but no more. I miss him everyday but I know someday I will see him again. I just wish I could still see him walking around the house. Attachments:

What are the other signs of a UTI in hammies other than blood in the urine? Is Ethel doing any better now that she has been taking the medicine for about a week? Love and good wishes for the both of you!!!

Hi Andrea. My two bigger hammies are like that. Emmy wakes up anytime of the day or night if you walk up to her cage. She usually wakes up at midnight and stays up until 6 in the morning. Radar is a whole different hammie. He is a napper like Isabella. Sometimes I have to wake him up or he will sleep the night away, but other times he will do the on and off sleep. Last night he was chewing on his cage bars for an hour. I took him out to hold him for a little bit before putting him into his ball and put him on my chest and he layed down on me. Instead of waiting a minute to see what he was doing I panicked a bit and started rubbing his back and giving him kisses thinking something was wrong. I came to realize the little bugger was just trying to take a power nap on me, and I blew an awesome opportunity with him. Each hammie has different patterns unless there is more that one to a habitat. Moving her out of the basement to a warmer room was the right move to make. In the summer the hammie cages are in my bedroom but the fall and winter months they come to the living room cause the bedroom gets chilly. Glad to hear baby Bella is closer to mommy now. She sounds normal to me. Please give her lots and lots of kisses on the nose for me. Andreas a good mommy!!!!

Andrea, I'm very sorry about Civic passing away. I remember you told my in a pm that you were concerned about going on vacation because you were worried that you might come home to something bad. I know how much it hurts to lose a little furry baby so you have my love and neverending hugs. I also hear that peanuts and sunflower seeds are abundant over the rainbow bridge. Rest in Peace dear Civic, after three years you've earned it baby.

Prayers go out to you and Ethel on this day, and hopes for a successful recovery. Your little Frezier has me stumped on how he broke his teeth. Can you feed the hammie peanut butter, that might put weight on him, just thin it down? He should be fine with an attentive mommy like you.

The doggies that you post about are always so interesting. I like being a newbe on this because I have more past doggie pics to look at from the past.

Does Frasier live in a cage with bars? Sounds like he might have got himself stuck from chewing and the only way to get free was to bust away fast not realizing that he was gonna lose his teeth in the process. Just guessing. Poor little man. Is Ethel's condition fixable that you know of? Hugs and Love to you and your babies. I pray everything will be fine. Be strong mama.

The girls are acting the same as always, they just look much fluffier than before. Their tummys seem fine. They just look like little brown cotton ball with ears and eyes. Kinda cute!!!

In the past week I have watched my little petite Robo girls plump into round little furry butterballs. I thought I was maybe reading too much into it until my daughter said to me "the little girls are really fat!!!". Is that because the seasons are changing or do they need more exercise. If they keep going like this, their little timers are gonna pop ( turkey timer ).

Sometimes I worry about my Robo babies. The bigger one will sometimes corner the little one. They might just be playing around but now that I know about declanning I feel a bit more paranoid.

No problem Katie. I'm sorry if my post seemed acidy. When it comes to texting on a phone or posting on the computer alot of times things are taken the wrong way. Just keep in mind that I'm a layed back person. The only time I get nasty is when I feel that I've been wronged by someone. Please don't apologize. I can't wait to get some pics of Cody and Rhythm posted. My partner knows how to do it, so I have to wait until some time is freed up.

I specifically used the word purebred to state that he wasn't mixed with another breed. I could have just said I owned a Beagle then someone might have responded " was he purebred or mixed?" I figured I would make it a clear comment the first time around.

I don't know why, but I never had any fear of those squirrels. I was just so amazed by my interaction with them, that it never entered my mind. I'd do it all again.
