DF suggested having something to show each of the animals I've said goodbye too, so I though i would start here and post a picture and a name or small blurb about each critter. If this works out I suggest we all have a thread ? I'm going to start with my two cats, Omar Pugsley & Sheri Baby who grew up in my childhood home with me when I was a teen. Sheri was sadly killed by an animal when she snuck outside, I'm still traumatized. Omar passed away after having heart disease at age 14. My first hamster Rollo My first female dwarf hammy, Ayla My #1 Dwarf Hammy, Happy Gilmore The Three white dwarf hammies to took in, all old and full of cancer poor girls. Bobby & Sonny & Mr. Deeds (Happy's Brothers) Happy with his other Brother - Billy Maddison First Syrine foster Hammy, Myaka I also had two male dwarfs, my very first pair who I was fostering who got adopted. one of them is the picture we use for the forum (Up top left) I had 3 gerbils i do not have pictures of, my first two sister Valontawny & Aphrodite, then the three legged girl Emily. Blazer & Chevy were brothers and the first male gerbils I ever owned. Both great boys. Maserati had a short life, and will always be a favorite to me. Sonata the rescue baby My very fist experiacne raising baby animals, was Porsche. She would ride on my shoulder Lexus, amazing mother & sister. Merceded, lexus' sister. Cadillac (Daughter of Chevy & Lexus) Jimmy (Son of Chevy & Lexus) Audi, she won second in a gerbil show. She was my favorite baby (Daughter of Chevy & Lexus) Jetta Majic i rescued from a bad situation. Never met such a terrified gerbil Shelby Cobra, I used to make jokes how she was part Rat, she was a big girl. My first rabbit death... Sara wasn't even a year old. Only 3 of 7 brothers and sisters are still alive today from this litter, reminds me everyday what backyard breeders are doing to hurt animals by breeding sick ones. to be continued....

Andrea, I like you new "Ani"-tar! LOL... good one! Yeah, my picture hosting switched something, and so all the links to my pictures have changed. So I thought I'd change this pic too... my gerbil was cute, but I no longer have her. So instead we have Anib - queen of bag bunnies

Horses winter coat can get pretty much double what it is regularly, a bit longer as well. But it depends on where you live and if the horse is blanketed and such. The horses listen to country music LOL... My Shirts for the 4 Wheel Drive Association which I belong to. Taylor is a Quarter Horse, but a registered paint.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hey, it's Ani's Birthday this month too! I should give her something special.
Those two hammies sure are the luckiest ever! So many little issues and they are going strong. The fluid in the chest sort of remonds me of Kyoto my Silver Martin Dwarf Bunny he has two very large (and still growing) tumors in his dewlap, we checked them for cancer and they are negative (just fat). He get's around with them ok, but I'll have to get them removed one day when they bother him.

Beautiful! My favorite is Video #2, where he is trying to tell the horse to stay still so he can take a picture, but the horse is much more interested in checking him out LOL Love the artwork, I actually may look into this more, I am in need of some pictures for my living room.

DM, I think it's nop that Lyn wants to know other experiances, she just wants to get this tragedy off her chest, and have people understand and care how she is feeling. No one needs or wants a lecture when they are hurting, it's Obvious this was a mistake and not something that would be repeated.

**HUGS** What a hard time for you right now, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's been very apparent in your posting just how much Rhythm meant to you and what a large part he played in your family. He lives a great long life with you, and you showed your apprection right down to the end, being with him when he said his goodbyes. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers during this hard time.
Rest in Peace Rhythm... and say hi to Whizz for me she'll be happy to have another cat friend up there.
