The legs remind me of bird legs. That video was such a treat to watch.I've watched it more than once now. Do you think they are sold in the U.S.?

Two years past the fact ,but I can't help it. This little animal is so silly looking and so cute at the same time. I'd love to have one of those little babies.

My hammie Radar does that legs up in a corner like Andreas hammie ,the problem is he lives in a cage. Get the mental picture? Ewwwww! And my Robos do pee in a tube at the bottom of their cage. Thanks for the tinkle talk gang.

I know that buying hammies from a pet store is a hot topic and honestly I really don't want to get into that, but every hammie I've ever had was from a pet store because I never knew of breeders until recently. This hammie is the only one I've ever had trouble with. I'm not sticking up for the pet stores but the wonderful hammies that are stuck there.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say that Rhythm is back home. He is in a beautiful little black urn with gold etching. It is all so surreal to me. I feel numb. After we are done with our ritual of carrying the urn everywhere he will be placed next to his brother on the top of the entertainment stand. This is probably gonna sound crazy but I swear that I keep seeing him. Crazy or hopeful...I don't know which one. Until later...

When I look at the pics you post I have to admit I get a little jealous. I've been a city girl my whole life but I love animals and beautiful land and I wish I had more of that in my life now that I'm getting older. The little horses are charming and the goat.... I love goats. When we go to any festival with a petting zoo I always seek out the baby goats. I love when they rub their little horns against my hands. You are very lucky.

Are the players college guys? They don't look like highschool guys. That is an awesome pic. You should have taken it to the papers and sold it for an easy buc. They are all so happy, it makes me smile. ;D Your a good photographer.

Andrea, Beacause of your post to me, I had to seek out Whizz. What a beautiful doggie!!! We even went to her site to see more pics. The pic of her with the black kitten makes me smile cause Rhythm was black. I don't think I have ever read a memorial and smiled the whole way through. You really captured her personality and shared it with everyone. I can see why you miss her. She is a dog that I would have liked to know, and because of you I do. What a great little princess! I am sorry that she is gone but a selfish part of me is happy to know that Rhythm will have a wonderful friend. Hugs to you and I hope that time has healed your heart, even if just a little bit.

Thank you everyone for all your hugs and support. It means alot to us. Today is the day we take Rhythm to be creamated. I vividly remember the feeling I had walking in to the creamation place with my Beagle in my arms. I had a broken foot at the time and it was in a cast but I vowed to myself that I was going to be the one taking him there. The feeling of dred, panic and dispair. I know today is the last day I can see my bubby ever and its eating me up. But once again, thank you. Gotta go for now.

Today , this morning at 4am I lost my best buddy to a grand mol seizure. He had been having mild seizures since 8pm and they kept building in intensity. We never left his side. We told him to go to heaven so he could play with Cody ( his Beagle brother ) again. My heart hurts so bad! My handsome Rhythm, I have no words to express the sorrow I'm feeling without you here. You are my best buddy, always there for me anytime I cried, always there to catch my tears, even this morning. You were an angel sent to me from God, and after 21 loving and happy years he called you home. There will never be another my bubby. I look forward to the day when I get to hold you again. I love you little man, and will miss you always! Rest in peace my baby. No more pain.

The last thing I expected or needed was a scolding about a tragedy I constantly feel guilt over. I never underestimated my cat, I underestimated the ball structure. I am blown away. And to Andrea, thank you for your post. Sharing means alot to me.

It was probably about 6 months ago when Hammie died. Just a regular night running around in his ball and having a great time. I was doing a hobby of mine when I heard a disturbance coming from the kitchen. I thought it was my cat chasing the bug that we saw earlier, but it wasn't. Somehow the ball opened up and the cat had him. Well, I went running and as I pushed the cat away I picked Hammie up and held him against my chest. The little guy was traumatized and his breathing was very shallow. When I took him away from my chest to get a better look he was bleeding from his chest. I can't discribe the sorrow that I felt over this. In the 21 years that i've had my kitty ,he has never broke my heart until then. I never told my daughter the truth because I didn't want her hating the cat. I took me awhile to forgive him, but that is the first and only time he ever did anything like that. Hammie lived a very short life, but he was such a wonderful pet. We never had to tame him,he loved to be played with and held, and most of all he loved running in his ball. No hamster gets in a ball without it being taped! It may have just been a fluke but I don't think I could live through that again. My heart still breaks over the way he died. RIP my sweet Hammie. I will never forget the love and happiness you gave to us. We miss you always.
